I just found out that my dear friend in Jerusalem who has been battling cancer metastasis for two years now has it in her brain. She's on chemo once a week, and an MRI just discovered cancer in her brain. I am devestated.
As for my [fairly insignificant] condition, the secretary from Prof Bikel's office called today. I am called to a meeting on Sunday July 12th with Bikels. That's in two weeks. So, we'll know more after that.
I am grateful for my health, and very heavy feeling about my friend.
I'm sorry about your friend. It must be devastating for you. Things like this help us put perspective around our own lives. Run with that.
