Not much change

It has been pretty heavy around here. Robert's father hasn't made any improvement, and is still sedated in the ICU in North Carolina. Robert wants to go and be there, help, hold his hand. He is thinking of possibly the week of Succot, so he won't have to take off from work. I'm sure I can have babysitting help, but with all 4 kids out of school, and my mobility limited, it is a hard time to be separated.

As for me, pain continues. It was feeling a bit better today, so I got a little confident and went out to meet my friend for coffee. I drove myself in Kermit. It is fine to drive because I don't have to use the left leg. But the seat belt was right on the incision, which still has stitches. Then I overdid it a bit with walking together a bit after our coffee date. We went to a few stores, and tried on clothes. Fun, but not to bright on my part. Quite a bit of pain this evening. Bummer. Percocet doesn't even touch it. I am starting to understand the bursitis pain; it is where the doctor (D) pressed and I went through the roof. That is what I am feeling, from that thigh bone at the joint. But of course, that is also where the surgery was, so it's hard to tell. I just gotta lay low more.

Thank Gd the kids are happy and really resilient. They maintain amazing stability, seemingly effortlessly. Gd please bless them.

I'm so profoundly tired.
