tomorrow's the day

I'm as ready as I ever will be.

Today was a really crazy day, but we got through it. We got lots of loose ends tied together.

People called all day with good wishes and prayers for a successful surgery.

Getting so many calls... I was just so frazzled with everything; I left too many things to the last minute. I wanted more calm time with my kids, and it didn't really happen; until the blessed time I got to lie next to Azriel as he drifted off to sleep. Shifra was in the top bunk in Azriel's room, and after Wazi fell asleep, she & I were whispering together. It was yummy.

Yesterday, on Shabbat, I thought of something that I needed to ask the surgeon about. I had to try pretty hard to reach him, but we finally did connect this afternoon, and thankfully he put my mind at ease. It has been such a roller coaster.

Roller coaster. Three years of a roller coaster. In Hebrew it translates to "mountain train"... I really do want to get off the train. I wouldn't mind being in the mountains, though!

Our new his & her children's helpers were over today for the afternoon & evening experience here, and I think everyone got a little more used to each other. They are such good, warm people, thank Gd.

I am just a jitter of nerves tonight at 11:04pm. I have been all day.

Going to take that sleeping pill now...
Robert will update as soon as he can.

All your prayers are amazing. Thank you with all my heart.
