It's all good.

The first rain came this morning. Here in Be'er Sheva, it only rains for a few months a year.

They say that rain on Succot is a sign of bad times ahead; it is desired only after the holiday is over. But I always feel that when it chooses to come, rain is a bracha.

A few more note-worthy brachot:

*Shifra and Azriel made a 100% turn around with just a few doses of the antibiotics. That medicine is pure magic.

*Last night I walked Emma for the first time in months, and with no crutch. I walked v e r y slowly, and she was so excited. As soon as we got to the park, I let her off the leash, and she was skipping and twirling; such just a wonderful sight! I noticed that her manners (training) were a little lax, though. Others, it would seem, were letting her get away with a lot more than I do. Well, I'm back. :-)

* I baked a cornbread today. That is the first stand-in-the-kitchen activity I have done, also in a long time. We had two good friends of ours come over and spend some time with us in the succah, and I got a nice little spread together for us all.

I am in bed now, wiped out at 7pm. But I did stuff. :-)
Robert is taking the evening shift (our babysitter couldn't come today).

Rain, healing, accomplishing, resting...
It's all good. B'ezrat Hashem (with the help of Gd).
